Debasis Adhikari, M.D., our medical director, is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology by American Board of Pathology and oversees the functions of all aspects of the laboratory personally. He completed his residency in Pathology at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York. He then worked as a fellow in Hartford Hospital, Hartford, CT in Surgical pathology. He gained experience from world-renowned pathologists like Dr. Steven Hajdu and Dr. Vijay Joshi during his training. He also had training in molecular biology and published a number of articles while working as a fellow in Memorial Sloan Kettering Research Center and at North Shore University Hospital.
His main areas of interest are in Gastroenterology, Podiatric, Skin.
Dr. Aam Baqui is a board certified pathologist in anatomic and clinical pathology as well as in cytologgy and medical microbiology. He completed his residency inin Pathology in Long Island Jewish Hospital where he also served as the chief resident.He also gained experience in Oral pathology from University of Maryland, Baltimore.
He is at present also working as an Medical Director, Department of Pathology, Bronx Care Hospital, Bronx,

Dr. Tadeusz Strzelecki graduated from the Medical Academy, Faculty of Medicine Gdansk, Poland. After completing residency at Polyclinic Hospital, in Gdansk, Poland, he has continued training in Clinical Laboratory and enrolled in a PhD program. His research focused on metabolic aspects of kidney function and failure including the adaptation of kidney to ischemia. He also taught Laboratory Medicine as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Biochemistry,
In 1993 Dr. Strzelecki completed the residency in Pathology, AP/CP program at North Shore University Hospital, Manhasset, NY. He was appointed as an Assistant Professor of Pathology, Department of Pathology, State University of New York, Health Science Center, Brooklyn, NY and Attending Pathologist University Hospital, Brooklyn, NY. He was involved in teaching clinical and anatomic pathology to medical students and residents. He designed and implemented a computer-assisted teaching of gross pathology and histopathology.
Since January 2000, Dr. Strzelecki has been working in small and large independent laboratories within the New York metropolitan area. After many years, he is experienced in diversified general Surgical Pathology including gastrointestinal, oral pathology, respiratory tract and gynecology pathology as well as cytopathology in gynecology, oral cavity, bronchial brush/wash and FNA interpretation.
